i haven't abandoned this journal i swear. i'm just still learning how to use this thing.

i'm stuck between feeling like i should write something kinda long here and just wanting to post willy-nilly like it's a twitter feed.

Both approaches are valid! I've known people who always wrote long detailed things and people who would make a one-line post to say they'd lost their hairbrush (and another when they found it) on LJ-clones in the past. It's a much less... performative? style of platform than most social media, I think.

yeah there's a lot of people i follow on here that have detailed posts and im like @_@. i can write up a storm if i need to but since i write for a living, im too tired to be writing some more. i like the idea of a less performative situation.
